The German village of Niederaussem seems to be swallowed up by the enormous RWE Power Plant. This village resembles Springfield, where the Simpsons live in the cartoon series with the same name, and where residents regularly inhale gas clouds regurgitated by the factory. Everything in Niederaussem is covered with a layer of gray and from whatever direction you approach the village, you can always see the cloud makers. They are terrifying and wonderful at the same time.
